Additional Tasks:
  1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. The value MenuShowDelay controls how fast the Start menu appears after you click on it. It’s measured in milliseconds: enter any value between 0 and 999 and change the delay.
  2. XP caches .dll files that it’s used in your system memory. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer. Create a new DWORD value called 'AlwaysUnloadDLL’ with a value of 1.
  3. Speed up the time it takes to automatically end tasks. Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop. The value for WaitToKillAppTimeout is measure in milliseconds so adjust it to a suitable level.
